A surgical team in the Department of Vascular Surgery, headed by Dr. Massaad Sulaiman, conducted the first surgery for the condition of aortic aneurysm using the interventional catheter at Mansoura University.

The team includes Dr. Tamer Abdel Hay, Dr. Mohamed Farag, Dr. Mohamed Shoukry, Dr. Ahmed Mosaad, Dr. Nashat Mohamed.

Dr. Mas'ad confirmed the patient's recovery after the catheterization, and was reassured and expected to leave within 48 hours.

Pointing out that the condition of the expansion of the aorta due to weak part of the wall of the artery in the abdomen, which leads to the expansion and the seriousness of the explosion because of the blood pressure inside.
